Another month, another crypto wallet security exposé.
After this year’s high-profile Bybit hack and Phantom vulnerability exposé, Binance Wallet now finds itself in the spotlight—this time over troubling allegations of staff misconduct.
The employee, now suspended and facing legal consequences, allegedly exploited insider information to conduct front-running trades.
The string of security incidents has forced users to ditch legacy brands and search for newer and safer brands like Best Wallet.
Binance Wallet Staff Found Insider Trading
On March 23, 2025, Binance’s Internal Audit team uncovered a troubling case of staff misconduct involving insider trading.
A Binance Wallet employee, previously associated with BNB Chain’s business development, misused privileged information to conduct front-running trades. Leveraging inside knowledge of a token generation event (TGE), the employee strategically purchased tokens before the public launch announcement, quickly cashing out for significant profits afterward.
Despite Binance’s immediate suspension and promised cooperation with legal authorities, the incident highlights serious flaws in Binance Wallet’s internal controls, raising doubts about its ability to safeguard user assets and uphold ethical standards in an increasingly vulnerable crypto market. Similarly, Binance’s Trust Wallet has been a target of multiple cyberattacks since 2023. Last year, U.S. cyber authorities investigated a critical vulnerability in Binance Trust Wallet’s iOS app, which allowed attackers to steal funds by guessing mnemonic security phrases.
Trust Wallet users were also the target of phishing scams last year.
The security mishaps aren’t limited to just Binance either. Earlier this year, Bybit’s multisig wallet was hacked for over $1.5 billion worth of Ethereum coins, drawing comparisons to last year’s WazirX exploit.
Meanwhile, the popular Solana wallet Phantom drew significant criticism for critical security vulnerabilities that could have impacted client funds.
The widespread popularity of legacy wallets like MetaMask, Phantom, and Binance Wallet has made them prime targets for hackers.
Crypto users are increasingly seeking safer alternatives, and Best Wallet has emerged as one of the standout candidates for the best crypto wallet in 2025.
Best Wallet — The Best Crypto Wallet For 2025?
With over 500,000 users within three months of its launch and a staggering 630% MoM growth rate, Best Wallet has established itself as a leading Bitcoin and crypto wallet brand.
In fact, the wallet now aims to capture 40% of the $11 billion non-custodial wallet market by 2026.
Best Wallet’s cutting-edge security protocol is one of the key reasons behind its popularity. As a newcomer to the wallet market, it has strategically learned from the shortcomings of established brands.
Its unique and secure passcodes, two-factor and Biometric authentication and regular security updates and communication have made it one of the most secure crypto wallet brands on the market.
Furthermore, its non-custodial MPC technology, which splits users’ private keys into two, adds a further layer of security. The two parts are stored on Fireblocks’ servers and users’ devices — while users have complete control, neither Fireblocks nor the Best Wallet team could ever access any confidential information.
Besides its security features, Best Wallet is quickly establishing itself as a one-stop shop for all things crypto.
For starters, it is a multi-chain wallet, unlike chain-specific brands like MetaMask and Phantom. Users will soon be able to buy, sell, swap, store, and send crypto across 60-plus chains.
Moreover, it has unveiled several cutting-edge features beyond just the traditional wallet capabilities. For instance, its presale aggregator, which lists the latest trending meme coins and top performing presales, recently grabbed headlines after listing several 10x cryptos like Pepe Unchained and Wall Street Pepe.

Meanwhile, features like its staking aggregator, crypto debit card, portfolio management feature, futures and derivatives trading platform, etc., are coming down the pipeline.
It is not without any reason that prominent analysts like Crypto Wire have called Best Wallet the only crypto wallet users will need.
The brand’s popularity is also evident through the success of its native token’s presale. The Best Wallet Token (BEST) has already raised over $11 million in ICO, with early buyers eyeing up 10x returns from it.
